 How to setup alternative SMTP in Microsoft Windows Live Mail?
Solution

1. Open Windows Live Mail, go to Tools > Accounts...

2. Choose your email account and then click on "Properties"

3. Go to 'Servers' tab, in 'Outgoing mail (SMTP):' , enter smtp.dnshostmaster.net

4. Under 'Outgoing Mail Server', ensure that 'My server requires authentication' is checked



5. Click on 'Settings'

6. Check on 'Log on using'

7. Enter username - smtp@domain.com and the password is provided by us



08. Click 'OK' and 'Apply'

09. Go to 'Advanced' tab and change the Outgoing server port number from 25 to 587.

10. Click 'Apply' and 'OK'
