How to start?
Welcome to our Web Template Tutorial, this tutorial will not only teach you how to use our Web Template, but also teaches you on how to use Wordpress. We provide our tutorial step by step, for more information on how to use Wordpress; you go to Wordpress Docs (http://worpdress.org/docs).
Step 1 – Where to log in?
Once your website is installed, you need to log in to the Administration Panel from where you can manage your website’s design, pages and contents.
To log in into the Administration Panel, type this URL in your browser:
http://www.yourdomainname.com/wp-admin
Enter your username and password, then click Log In. You’ll be directed to the Administration Panel.

Step 2 – Administration Panel
The Administration Panel provides access to the control features of your WordPress installation. Each Administration Panel is presented in sections, the header, the main navigation, the work area, and the footer.
On the left side of the screen is the main navigation menu detailing each of the administrative functions you can perform. Two expand/collapse arrows just below Dashbord and Comments allow the navigation menu to collapse to a set of icons, or expand (fly-out) to show an icon and description for each major administrative function. Within each major function, such as Posts, a pull-down arrow is presented upon hovering mouse hovers over the title area. A click of that arrow expands the menu to display each of the sub-menu choices. Clicking that arrow again collapses the sub-menu.
The large area in the middle of the screen is the work area. It is here the specific information relating to a the particular navigation choice, such as adding a new post, is presented and collected.
In this tutorial, we will teach you the control on how to use our template only, for more information detailed information about the Administrator Panel go to Wordpress Administrator Panel (http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels).
Step 3 – Chose preferred color to my web theme
WebServer supplies five themes for your initial use, each having the same design but different color. You can switch between these five themes using the admin panel.
To start changing your theme color, go to Administration Panels > Design > Themes. Or you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
2. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
3. From the Available Themes section, click on the theme title (or theme screenshot) for the theme you wish to activate.
4. A preview of the theme will be shown. To activate the theme click the Activate "Theme Name" link in the top right.
Your selection should immediately become active.

Step 4 – How to change my website’s header
One of our main flexibility on WebServer Free Template is you can change the header text title and tagline or your preferred company logo or image. If you don’t have a logo yet, you can change the website’s header text title.
Change the header’s text title and tagline
To change header’s text title and tagline, go to Administration Panels > Settings > General. Change the Blog Title and Tagline. Or you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel (skip this step if you’re already logs in).
2. Select the Settings panel, then General.
3. On the work area, you can see Blog Title and Tagline.
4. Change your Blog Title and Tagline.
5. Click Save Changes button on the bottom.
You can see your changes on the website now.

Change the header with your own company logo or image
To change the header with your own company logo or image, go to Administration Panel > Plugins > Installed. Find a plug-in called Dynamic Headers by Nicasio Design, below the title there’s Activate link, click it to activate this plug-ins. This plug-in will remove your website’s header text title and tagline and replace it with an image that you’ll be upload. Or you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel (skip this step if you’re already logs in).
2. Select the Plugins panel, then Installed.
3. On the work area, you can see listed plug-ins installed for your Wordpress.
4. Find a plug-in called Dynamic Headers by Nicasio Design
A new panel called Header will show on the left, below the Settings panel and on top of Gallery panel. To manage the Header, go to the Administration Panels > Header > Add New File. Click Browse to browse your file, then put your Link URL with this http://www.yourdomainname.com (when people click on your header logo, they can go to website’s homepage), then click Upload.
Next, go to the Administration Panels > Header > Settings. Uncheck the Display Footer Link, select the image you’ve uploaded on Default Header Media and Blog Page Header, and then click Save Changes.
Or you can follow these steps:
1. Select the Header panel, then Add New File.
2. Click Browse on to browse your image file.
3. Put you Link URL with this http://www.yourdomainname.com (when people click on your header logo, they can go to website’s homepage)
4. Then, click Upload.
5. Select the Header panel, then Settings.
6. Uncheck the Display Footer Link.
7. Select your uploaded image on Default Header Media and Blog Page Header.
8. Then, click Save Changes.
You can see your changes on the website now.

Step 5 – Change your website’s background
One of our main flexibility on WebServer Free Template is you can change the website’s background.
To start changing your website’s background, go to the Administration Panels > Settings > Background Control.
Put your Background Color, for example ‘white’ or ‘black’. Select you Background Image by clicking Browse. Put your Background Position, for example for Top ‘top’ or bottom, example for Left ‘left’, ‘right’ or ‘center’. Select your Background Repeat setting. Select your Background Attachment setting.
And then, click Update options.
Or you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel (skip this step if you’re already logs in).
2. Select the Settings panel, then Background Control.
3. Put your Background Color.
4. Select you Background Image by clicking Browse.
5. Put your Background Position.
6. Select your Background Repeat setting.
7. Select your Background Attachment setting.
8. Then click Update options.
You can see the background changes on the website now.
Step 6 – Change your website contents
This tutorial teaches you how to use Wordpress’ page with WebServer Free Template, to learn more about how to use the page.
Writing posts and pages is the core activity in Wordpress. You can start your editorial experience by clicking the Add New button located in the Page panel. Go to Administration Panels > Page > Add New.
When you are ready with your new page, click Publish to save it.
One of our main flexibility on WebServer Free Template is the template will auto generating the navigation. You’re new page will appear on the navigation automatically. All child pages will automatically become a sub menu under the parent link on the navigation.

Step 7 – Change the Homepage Main Banner
On default installation of WebServer Free Template website, you’ll have a standard Home page. The Home page is selected the template Home, you can see this setting by going to the Home page editor. Template Home is only meant for the Home page only, to change your Main Banner on the Home page, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel (skip this step if you’re already logs in).
2. Select the Pages panel, then Edit.
3. Find your Home page, and click Edit.
4. Once you get into the Editor Panel, find Custom Fields.
5. Click Enter New and type ‘MainBanner’ into Name Box.
6. Insert the image’s URL into the Value Box.
7. Select Add Custom Field.
8. Update page.
9. You’re done, go back to the frontage to see the result on your Main Banner.
If you want to put Main Banner on the other pages also, open the selected page and follow these steps:
1. Once you get into the Editor Panel, find Custom Fields.
2. Click Enter New and type ‘MainBanner’ into Name Box.
3. Insert the image’s URL into the Value Box.
4. Select Add Custom Field.
5. Update page.
By default, all pages don’t have Main Banner, but if you create ‘MainBanner’ custom field and put the image’s link in the Value Box, the image will appear as a Main Banner on your page.
Step 8 – Create the Feedback form
You may proceed with add a new Feedback Page. After ensure the Easy Contact plugin is activated, you can proceed by clicking the Add New button located in the Page panel. Go to Administration Panels > Page > Add New.
Insert the ‘[easy-contact]’ (without quote) under the HTML coloum, click Publish to save it.

Additional Guideline
(A) - How to reset Admin password
1.. Login to WP administration area.
2.. Click on Users -> Your Profile
3.. Enter the new password and confirm password under About Yourself section
4.. Click the Update Profile button
(B) - How to activate Plugins
1.. You can find the plugin in your WordPress administration area.
2.. Click on Plugins.
3.. Click the Activate button to activate the selected plugin

(C) - How to add a new user to your Wordpress
1.. Login to your WP admin panel
2.. Click on Add New button under the Users category
3.. Fill in the details and select the role which you would like to assign for the new user. (For example: Administrator, Author and etc)
4.. Save
